Shape Nammo’s long-term position in the Danish Defence Ecosystem
Nammo is entering the Danish market with the establishment of a new production site in Elling, North Jutland. Backed by a major government contract and with first deliveries planned for 2027, this marks a strategic expansion of one of Europe’s leading aerospace and defence groups.
Nammo is now looking for a commercially driven and strategically strong Key Account Manager Denmark to lead Nammo’s commercial engagement with the Danish Armed Forces, DALO, and key governmental stakeholders.
This is not a traditional sales role - it is a market-shaping position with full commercial accountability for Denmark.
The role
As Key Account Manager Denmark, you hold the end-to-end responsibility for order intake from Danish governmental organizations across Nammo’s business units. You serve as the primary commercial interface between Nammo and the Danish defence ecosystem, building long-term trust-based relationships while positioning Nammo in upcoming investment and development programs.
You operate at the intersection of commercial strategy, procurement influence, contract negotiation, and internal alignment across international business units.
Success in this role requires the ability to influence early-stage programs, navigate complex decision-making structures, and translate long-term positioning into tangible contracts.
Key responsibilities
Full commercial responsibility for Danish governmental accounts
Drive order intake across relevant Nammo Business Units
Position Nammo in future Danish Armed Forces procurement and investment programs
Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with DALO and Danish defence authorities
Influence requirements, terms & conditions, and early program development
Develop and execute a structured Denmark Business Strategy
Represent customer priorities internally and ensure alignment across engineering, legal, production, and management
Negotiate complex government contracts
Support and coordinate Industrial cooperation activities in Denmark
Provide structured reporting and strategic updates to senior leadership
This role is instrumental in securing sustainable growth and long-term strategic positioning for Nammo in Denmark.
As senior B2G professional you have a proven track record in managing complex governmental accounts and a strong commercial focus. Furthermore, you have:
at least 7 years of sales experience in defence, aerospace, security, or other regulated industries
Deep understanding of procurement structures and decision-making pathways – preferably within the defence industry
Experience managing long sales cycles and multi-stakeholder negotiations
A strong track record of achieving order intake targets
Experience operating within international, matrix-based organizations
Knowledge of industrial cooperation / offset requirements is a strong advantage.
You are a credible and politically astute professional who builds trust naturally and operates with high integrity and discretion. You demonstrate strategic patience and persistence in long and complex sales cycles, combining structured execution with strong commercial discipline.
You can align diverse stakeholders internally and externally and bring the professional maturity and resilience required to operate effectively in high-stakes environments. You are comfortable engaging at senior levels across government and industry, while confidently navigating internal complexity within an international organization.
