Aalborg Portland is looking for an experienced and proactive HR Partner who not only supports the business but actively shapes it. You will play a key role in the leadership team of Aalborg Portland A/S and serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees across the organization.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to translate business strategy into concrete HR actions and ensure a value-adding HR effort that supports both business objectives and employee well-being. You will work across various functions and be an integral part of a strong Regional HR team.
As an HR Partner at Aalborg Portland, you will have a broad range of responsibilities, spanning from operational HR tasks to strategic initiatives. Your key responsibilities include:
Strategic HR Partnership and Business Impact
- Translate business needs into HR initiatives that support strategic objectives in alignment with Regional HR strategy.
- Implement and facilitate HR annual cycle activities such as Performance Management, Talent Development, engagement surveys, and salary reviews.
- Advise and spar with leadership on HR solutions that drive business growth and employee engagement.
- Facilitate Regional and Group HR Initiatives at Aalborg Portland.
- Ensure accurate headcount and organizational reporting for budgeting and forecasting at local, regional, and group level.
Labor Law and Compliance
- Advise managers and employees on labor law and collective agreements
- Ensure HR processes comply with current legislation and agreements.
- Ensure effective employee and union relations and collaboration together with Plant Management team.
Recruitment and Employer Branding
- Lead and support the entire recruitment process in close collaboration with hiring managers.
- Ensure a seamless and structured onboarding process that fosters employee engagement and retention
Project Management and HR Processes
- Drive and contribute to cross-functional HR initiatives at both local, regional and global levels.
- Lead and execute ad hoc HR projects that support business growth and organizational development.
- Continuously improve HR processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and impact across the organization.
You will report to the Nordic and Baltic Region HR Director and in dotted line to Aalborg Portland A/S Managing Director. You will be part of a dynamic HR team with specialists in Talent Management & Leadership Development and HR Operations, together with HR Partners from other BUs in the Nordic & Baltic Region.
We are looking for a business-driven HR professional with strong interpersonal skills, capable of building trust and fostering partnerships at all levels. You are proactive, solution-oriented, and a trusted advisor, balancing strategic goals with employee well-being. With strong communication and influence skills, you navigate complexity with empathy and adaptability to drive engagement and organizational growth.
To succeed in this role, you should:
- Hold a master’s degree in HRM, business, psychology, or a related field.
- Have 5-7 years of HR experience, covering both strategic and operational responsibilities.
- Be experienced in navigating a complex matrix organization, ideally in an international setting.
- Possess strong knowledge of labor law, collective agreements, and HR compliance.
- Thrive in a dynamic environment, balancing long-term strategic HR initiatives with hands-on support.
- Be fluent in English and Danish, both written and spoken.
